On the battlefield. The Dreadnought is a flying titan for 800 coin (unlocked for 350): 100,432 HP that ground guns can't touch, and a keel cannon that sweeps one beam through 3 targets every 4 s, 3,859 damage to each, ground or air, out to 100 m. Most of an early army can't shoot up at all, so it wins against nearly everything at equal cost: the Landship, Cutters, Breakers, Aurochs and the other ground heavies, and the air units too (Mirages, Seraphs, Rotors), because its beam hits air. What brings it down is massed anti-air: enough Hexguards beat it, and Coursers win most fights, while a Skitter swarm only trades even, since it can't reach the ship and the ship can't kill bodies fast enough. Fly it over the centre where its beam reaches the most targets and keep Hexguard-killers (Torches, Ridgebacks, splash) near it. Disassembler turns it into a siege engine, taking 20% of every ground enemy's current HP within 250 m every 15 s; Swarm Rack adds 46 missiles every 20 s against swarms and air; Long Barrels reach 140 m; Heavy Plating adds 40% HP and 60 block.
The Dreadnought as it moves in the game: it hovers with a slow bob; before each shot the keel channel charges from stern to bow for 1 s, the beam then rakes across the line through its 3 targets in 2 s, and the channel cools, 3.7 s in all, every 4 s; the keel cannon turns up to 60° either side of the bow at 55°/s. The Swarm Rack opens the deck hatches for 46 missiles over 2.3 s; the Disassembler flares the hull emitters 1.2 s before each pulse. The hull turns at 60°/s in battle (drawn at 25°/s). Numbers come from the game's catalog and its animation data; the drawing is an isometric figure, not the game mesh.
